The Summer School also offers several opportunities for participants, faculty, and keynote speakers to meet and exchange ideas outside the classroom, fostering sustained interaction and a lively intellectual community throughout the week.
Welcome Breakfast
A welcome breakfast will be offered on the first morning of the Summer School in the garden of ENS Paris-Saclay, and in case of bad weather condition in the Espace Gilbert Simondon (first floor, building south-west).
Daily Lunches & Coffee-Breaks
Lunches and afternoon coffee-breaks will be provided each day, offering participants, faculty and keynote speakers, an informal opportunity to continue discussions beyond the classroom. They will be served either in garden or the Espace Gilbert Simondon (first floor, building south-west).
Theatre at the Scène de Recherche
Participants will be invited to attend a performance at the Scène de Recherche , the professional theatre located within ENS Paris-Saclay. The performance will be based on the work of Marc Fleurbaey, offering a different perspective on this research through the performing arts.
Performance: Title to be announced
By translating the work of Marc Fleurbaey into a theatrical form, the performance offers another way of engaging with its ideas and questions, at the intersection of academic research and artistic creation.
The Scène de Recherche , located at the heart of ENS Paris-Saclay, is a 160-seat professional theatre dedicated to bringing together the arts, science, and technology. Its programme encompasses theatre, dance, circus, new magic, and other forms of performance, alongside research-creation residencies, workshops, and cultural outreach activities.
Farewell Reception
A farewell reception will be held at ENS Paris-Saclay on the final evening of the Summer School, bringing participants, faculty, and keynote speakers together to close the week.
