Paris-Saclay Summer School in Economics

Applications are open to master students, PhD students and early-stage researchers with the academic background required to follow advanced graduate-level courses in economics. Applicants who have recently completed a relevant undergraduate degree may also be considered where their academic background is appropriate (prerequisites in microeconomics and econometrics are requried).

All courses are taught entirely in English. Participants are therefore expected to have a good command of English.

Application

Applications must be submitted through the online application form. Applicants will be asked to provide:

  • a curriculum vitae.
  • a short statement explaining their motivation for attending the Summer School.
  • proof of current academic status and their most recent degree.
  • their accommodation preference, where applicable.

Selection & Registration

Successful applicants will be notified by January 31, 2027.

Accepted applicants must complete their registration by March 1, 2027. Where a participation fee applies, registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Places not confirmed by the deadline may be offered to applicants on the waiting list.

*The accommodation package additionally includes housing on the campus, from July 4 to July 11, 2027.

Fee eligibility is subject to proof of status, such as a certificate of enrolment or valid student card. Participation fees include all courses, lunches, coffee breaks, and Summer School social events.

Certificate of Attendance & ECTS

Participants who complete the Summer School will receive a certificate of attendanc indicating the courses attended and the corresponding number of teaching hours.

Participants interested by ECTS credits should check with their home institution whether the certificate of attendance and teaching hours may be recognized toward their degree.
